Abhl (aktiebolaget Helmersson & Linna) works with high-end cinematic documentary films and series and internationally acclaimed musical scores for films and television.
The company was established in 2011 and is run by Olavi Linna and Uno Helmersson and focuses in bringing stories to life through collaborations with the best in the business.
Uno Helmersson
Uno was born in 1977 and grew up in Sundsvall, Sweden.
Graduated from the Swedish royal academy of music in 2007.
Today he works primarily with music composing and original scores for nordic and international tv and films.
Unos work has been recognized and awarded at multiple festivals around the Globe.
His Latest works includes the three time Oscar Nominated “FLEE”, for which Uno was awarded a Danish Film Academy Award “Robert” for best Original Score in 2022 and “Nelly Rapp” for which he was nominated for a Swedish “Guldbaggen” by the Swedish Film Institute in 2021. For his score for “The Painter and The thief” he was awarded the “Gullruten” in 2021.
His first solo-album “First” is released on the [PIAS] Label in may of 2021.
Olavi Linna
Olavi was born 1977 and grew up in Vasa, Finland.
Graduated from the Danish school of film in 2007.
Studied social anthropology, philosophy and history at Åbo academy, Uppsala university and the University of Copenhagen.
Works primarily with direction, production and screen writing of documentary films and series for tv, advertising and cinema.
Olavis work hos been nominated and awarded at CPH:DOX, Nordic Panorama, Gothenburg International Film Festival and Kristallen amongst others. His work is appreciated for his ability to explore complex stories in a simple yet intriguing way.
